Once upon a time I was a book loving kindergarten teacher, but an itch for artistic expression took over.
In 2000, I fell in love with crystals, gemstones and designing jewelry. So many metals, colors and textures to play with! I inherited my grandfather’s hammer, my father’s love of gemstones, and my mother’s creativity…then my love for words, symbols & numbers began to appear in my jewelry designs through metal stamping. I promised there’d never be another little 7 year old child without their name on a necklace as I had been!
In 2006, I opened a brick and mortar bead store in the heart of Andover, Massachusetts. Putting my teaching skills to use, I created a workshop area, taught classes, hosted ladies nights, summer bead camp, and birthday parties. I offered jewelry repair, vintage jewelry redesigns and custom orders. I employed 10 incredible local students as my assistants. It was a charmed career and I loved every minute of it.
In 2013, my family moved to the coast on Plum Island. I now work out of my home studio, continuing to do what I love. My designs are found in local shops, on Facebook and on Instagram. My love affair with the beach, ocean, words, crystals & gemstones continues…
